Beta-1,3/1,6-D-Glucan (Beta-Glucan) is a bioactive carbohydrate derived from the cell wall of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, commonly known as Bakers' yeast. Studies have shown that it can interact with certain immune cells, including the ones in the gut that are associated with lymphoid tissues. This are plays an important role in the immune system function. The formula is also blended with Maitake mushrooms for even more support.
